STEVE WORNES AND CLARE BROCKMAN FROM PERTH, WESTERN AUSTRALIA
RLF’s Managing Director Mr. Ken Hancock recently announced the appointment of two experienced Process & Production Chemists who are to join the technical team in Perth, Western Australia.
Steve Wornes has been appointed as Senior Process Chemist and Clare Brockman as Quality Assurance Manager. Steve previously held the role of Senior Production Chemist at RLF. They are both qualified and experienced Chemists with strong backgrounds in quality control, audit processes, documentation and data validation. Both also bring strength and skills in leadership, team management and workplace standards
Both Steve and Clare most recently held senior positions with Nufarm Australia Ltd at their Lytton Plant, Queensland, and their move to join RLF in Perth may well be considered a ‘homecoming’. Steve and Clare were educated in Perth, with Steve graduating from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Science degree with majors in chemistry and mathematics and Clare from the Curtin University of Technology with first-class honours in Science.
Steve’s strong management and laboratory-based experience, especially as they relate to ISO 9001 quality systems will add great strength to our technical team. Clare’s experience and knowledge in quality control systems and her accredited status to evaluate test and validate data and product will be invaluable for RLF going forward.
In making this announcement Mr Hancock said “please join me in welcoming both Steve and Clare to the RLF team. We look forward to a long and mutually satisfying working relationship as we all strive to bring better information, products and technical services to our clients and customer groups”.
Steve joins the company on Monday 2nd June 2014 and Clare commences on Monday 16th June 2014.
