AN INSIGHT INTO INTEGRATED FERTILISER MANAGEMENT FOR WHEAT IN CHINA

Here is a small pictorial review of the effects gained from a recent Integrated Fertiliser Management (IFM) program on a wheat crop in Henan Province, China. The RLF products used were BSN Superstrike and Broadacre Plus Ultra Foliar. Compared with the Control crop the wheat treated with the RLF IFM products had thick stalks, wide leaves, dark green leaves, more tillers, well-developed root systems and more capillary roots. CROP NUTRITION FERTILISER AND CROP PROTECTION CHEMICALS WORKING TOGETHER

The benefits of using a Broad-spectrum foliar fertiliser such as RLF’s Broadacre Plus Ultra Foliar is well known. It has an established record of being an effective way to increase rice yield, improve rice quality and to save labour and time. To help rice growers understand the effects of RLF Broadacre Plus Ultra Foliar on rice, and the synergistic effect of Broadacre Plus Ultra Foliar + bactericide, the RLF Technical Team established an evaluation and demonstration field in Zhejiang Province in which different treatment programs were tested. This IN shows how even more benefits can accrue as the nutrient elements needed for strong growth and yield and the preventative measures against disease effectively work together. Read about the trial program and results here.

PLASMA FUSION GIVES YIELD ADVANTAGE

Plasma Fusion recently delivered a significant return on investment for a chickpea crop under trial in Moree, northern NSW (AU) of 13:1. It is worthy of note that this excellent return came during a season of below average rainfall. This result is particularly pleasing, as one of the key features of an RLF Ultra Foliar such as Plasma Fusion is that it gives support to a crop during adverse weather conditions. The evaluation trial has been documented and all data can be viewed here. This result is consistent with the experience of many farmers using Plasma Fusion, not only for chickpeas, but for a wide variety of crop types.

PASTURE PLUS AND A STUDY OF WEIGHT GAIN IN CATTLE

The outcome of a weight trial involving a herd of 59 heifers in the Walcha district of New South Wales has produced a perfect result for both the owner and for the performance of RLF Ultra Foliar Pasture Plus. An exceptional 100% increase in the averaged daily weight gain for the herd once they had been moved onto pasture treated with Pasture Plus. And, this achieved in 16 days less than their time on the Control paddock. This is an exceptional result for the RLF team involved, and an important message for all members to be sharing with their customer base. You are invited to view all the details here.

INTEGRATED FERTILISER MANAGEMENT AND ITS IMPACT ON FERTILISER USE EFFICIENCY AND YIELD

It is an imperative for Australian farmers to become more efficient with their fertiliser use. And the very efficiency of that fertiliser use in achieving improved yield needs to also be considered as part of any good farm management plan. RLF recognised this many years ago and has worked to provide viable science based solutions to assist farmers in addressing crop quality issues, yield outcomes, natural soil fertility and sustainability of the soil as well as maintaining a healthy economic return at a potentially reduced input cost. Recent published papers indicate an alarming unfolding scenario and this INSIGHT provides a sustainable, trialled, tested and valuable option to turn this problem around. Whilst the current experience highlights an Australian problem, this is a message that should not be ignored by farmers across the globe. This is an important INSIGHT for TeamRLF and you are asked to share it with your customers. It can be viewed here.

THE POWER OF RLF SPECIALTY FERTILISERS

Cabbage is grown all over China and has become a much loved vegetable crop. Recently one cabbage growers experience was documented because he used RLF BSN Superstrike and Ultra Foliar Fruits & Veggies Plus for irrigating his crop. RLF’s Sales Manager Li Jian and Research & Development Director, Qiu Mengbin visited the grower’s property on 12th November 2016 to inspect the results. The results were amazing and this photo story demonstrates just how effective and integrated fertiliser management approach can be.

RLF PASTURE PLUS AND LUCERNE

RLF’s Pasture Plus has once again displayed its unique qualities. The results of a recent lucerne trial, conducted over an 80 hectare, non irrigated paddock are extraordinary. See how the trial was run, and what result was achieved. The results of this trial, if replicated across an entire season of lucerne growing could mean substantial economic return for the grower.
