NUTRIENTS ARE ESSENTIAL FOR HUMAN HEALTH

Part 5 of the series of 8 articles based on fertilising crops to improve human health again continues the Plant Nutrition and Health Risks Associated with Plant Diseases theme. These articles have all been taken from a joint publication by the International Plant Nutrition Institute (IPNI) and the International Fertiliser Industry Association (IFA). Nutrient deficiencies need to be overcome to be able to deliver healthy plants and produce to market, and as such all pathways for nutrient health in the crop needs to be managed – and these include both the plant itself and the soil in which it grows. So, managing the syndrome of ‘hidden hunger’ becomes key.  Read more about it here.
