Balanced Broad-spectrum formulation that acts as a nutrient charger to improve vegetative reproduction and seedling establishment. Canedip charges tissue with ionic form of essential nutrients.
The nutritional boosting achieved by Canedip increases the level of essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium and trace elements. This ensures that the newly grown tissue has adequate and balanced levels of all essential elements and is consequently more vigorous and resistant to
disease agents.
Canedip at recommended dilution rates increases the level of essential nutrients in roots, treated organs and plant parts used in vegetative reproduction.
The stored essential macro and micro nutrients stimulate and maintain healthy new plant growth during the sensitive period of plant establishment when there is a high demand for essential nutrients. Roots, stem cuttings and other vegetative tissues have large ‘Free Space’ in the form of inter-cellular space, xylem cavity and air space (as with spongy tissues) that have a good capacity to store nutrients; therefore treatment with Canedip impacts on the loading of living cells as well as Free Space nutrient-
storing compartments.
Transplant Period
Canedip’s complete nutritional feeding improves growth and establish-ment of healthy plants. It offers a perfect replacement for any alternate fertiliser feeding during the delicate period of seedling or tree establishment.
1. Dipping and soaking of plant parts used in
vegetative reproduction
Plant parts such as stem cuttings, root cuttings, tubers, bulbs, corms, rhizomes, runners, stolons and suckers all benefit.
2. Dipping of seeding roots
before transplanting
Crop types such as tomato, celery, lettuce, capsicum, melons, eggplant and the entire range of brassicas all benefit.
3. Fertigating Fruit Trees or Seedlings
after Transplanting
Canedip is a ready-made complete nutrient food to irrigate seedlings of vegetables and flowers after transplanting. It can also be used to fertigate fruit trees, vines and berries or other nursery stock.
Features and Benefits
Canedip charges tissue with an ionic form of essential nutrients.
The nutritional boosting achieved increases the level of essential nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorous,
potassium and trace elements. This ensures that the newly forming plant tissue has adequate, and balanced 3
levels of all essential elements making the plant more vigorous and resistant to disease agents. In turn, the
stored essential macro and micro nutrients stimulate and maintain healthy new plant growth during the sensitive
period of plant establishment when there is a high demand for essential nutrients.
Roots, stem cuttings and other vegetative tissues have large 'Free Space' in the form of inter-cellular space, xylem
cavity and air space (as with spongy tissues) that have good capacity to store nutrients. Treatment with UniDip impacts 3
on the loading of living cells as well as in Free Space nutrient-storing compartments. Many benefits then flow to the
young plants and seedlings as these air spaces are replaced with sufficient essential nutrients to increase the power to
better develop root and shoot growth.
Some of these are :
Increase Yield Potential
using a nutrient charger is intended to provide the plant with early growth development and future yield potential.
Providing the nutrient to the plant at this time and in this format gives more early vigor and root development which can carry forward during the growth crop cycle to greater yields, qualities, and value.
Product Benefits
A balanced Broad-spectrum formulation that acts as a nutrient charger to improve vegetative reproduction and seedling establishment. It charges tissue with ionic form of essential nutrients.
Build Organic Matter in Soil
The most effective and cost efficient method of building organic matter in the cropping soils is through the enrichment of the crop waste materials and root mass. This ensures that the root mass and necrotic plant matter has greater size and volume, that the root mass is greater thereby returning more matter to the soil. Most importantly, and often forgotten, is the nutrient status of the plant – that at harvest – returns all nutrient to the root mass from the plant – making a higher nutrient value plant, returning higher nutrient value to the soil. Nutrient Charger contributes to these things; larger volume plants, larger root structure and mass and higher nutrient values.
How Nutrient Charger Works
The stored essential macro and micro nutrients stimulate and maintain healthy new plant growth during the sensitive period of plant establishment when there is a high demand for essential nutrients. Roots, stem cuttings and other vegetative tissues have large 'Free Space' in the form of inter-cellular space, xylem cavity and air space (as with spongy tissues) that have a good capacity to store nutrients; therefore treatment with Nutrient Charger impacts on the loading of living cells as well as Free
Improves Crop Quality + Value
Using a Nutrient Charger can ensure that the nutritional requirements of the plant are better satisfied across a complete spectrum of up to 13 nutrient elements – this is seen to result in the improved crop quality as seen in size, grain weight and colourisation. Manifestly it also ensures that the nutrient value (content) of the yield is more likely higher, in line with the higher nutrient values of the plant – and this may even improve taste. Higher quality produce results in the potential for higher sales value.
Protection for the Delicate Transplant Peroid
Nutrient Charger’s complete nutritional feeding improves growth and establishment of healthy plants. It offers a perfect replacement for any alternate fertiliser feeding during the delicate period of seedling or tree establishment.
KEY ITEMS
General Features of RLF Products
RLF's world-leading technology that enables the safe formulation and manufacture of fertiliser in a concentrated solution that contain many nutrients – all stable and safely engineered for the plant.
World-leading first RLF-developed technology that bonds with the nutrient elements to efficiently and safely transport them directly into the seed embryo. This process is called imbibing and it is essential in the success of fertilising the seed directly with nutrient.
World-leading RLF's specially formulated nutrient carrier-technology that bonds with the nutrient elements in solution to transfer them straight into the plant through the leaf cell walls and then directly into the cells themselves.
RLF's specially formulated technology that utilises a balance of high- quality chelates and RLF nutrient carrier-technology to enact nutrient transfer rapidly with high-efficiency into the plant and throughout
its cells.
RLF High-analysis Broad-spectrum products have up to 12 nutrient elements delivered to the plant or seed in a single application – meaning that this one product can perform many functions and achieve many outcomes in this high performance formulation.
Stimulation of a plant's metabolism requires it to have phosphorus delivered as part of a foliar application. Phosphorus is also vital for yield. Since phosphorus soil uptake is difficult, RLF products provide plant-available phosphorus for immediate uptake and support in the transfer of other elements to the plant.
RLF products are developed based on the plants own detailed and individual physiology and related chemistry, in order to achieve the desired results from every formulation. This is the basis of all RLF products. This ensures the correct types of nutrient are delivered to the plant safely and efficiently.
RLF applies the science of nutrient removal in the development and formulation of its high technology products. Crop Nutrient Removal science allows RLF to calculate the quantity of nutrients for every formulation as to balance those nutrients removed during the
plant cycle.
RLF products are high concentration at specific gravity values between 1.2 and 1.5 – they are engineered in the formulation to ensure that they maintain full integrity. RLF products are tested, accredited and in quality solution that assures stability and longevity.
RLF high-technology products build and increase organic matter through the development of a larger root mass, greatly increased fine root hairs and a higher rate of root turnover caused by increased microbial activity and the resulting increase in plant exudate. This is supported by the increase in plant nutrient levels and the increase in the mass of growth matter – both returning to the soil at harvest.
Accredited ISO9001:2008 certification enables RLF to demonstrate high levels of service quality and to show that internationally recognised quality management principles are followed.
RLF products are high concentration at specific gravity values between 1.2 and 1.5 – they are engineered in the formulation to ensure that they maintain full integrity. RLF products are tested, accredited and in quality solution that assures stability and longevity.
In order to deliver nutrient quickly and safely, hydrogen (acidity) is required to enable the safe and efficient transfer and uptake of the nutrient load by the plant from the outside of the leaf directly into the plant cells.
All RLF products are scientifically tested, trialled and proven in both laboratory and field evaluations.

Many farmers ask what chemicals can be mixed with liquid products that contain trace elements.
Whilst we recommend that to obtain the best result from any chemical, it should be applied individually, we are fully aware of many farm practices that include mixing chemicals to reduce application costs.
From anecdotal evidence gathered from farmers who have mixed various chemicals with RLF products, at the time of application, we have compiled the following list of products that have been reported to be mixed successfully:
PLEASE NOTE:
- Do NOT composite mix more than one of the above with foliar products
- BSN-range and Ultra Foliar products are not compatible with Inoculants.
- When BSN seed priming treatment is to be applied with fungicides, BSN which is imbided by the seed should be used first followed by fungicides that stick to the seed surface.

- c = chemically compatible based on reference to The Pesticide Manual published by the British Crop Protection Council (BCPC)
- p = physically compatible when mixed as per RLF Tank Mixing Guide;
- b = biologically compatible, no observable or measurable reduction in pesticide bioefficacy or loss of nutrition;
- h = chemical, physical and biological compatibility based on reference to RLF Crop Nutrition Handbook (ca. 2004), RLF Technical Bulletin TB61 and RLF Website - http://www.ruralliquidfertilisers.com/compatibility;
- nd = no data
- 1 = Total mixture [product + water] shoudl not exceed 600mL / 100kg of seed;
- 2 = Reduction in bioefficacy may occur at pH < 4, severity increasing with lower pH;
- 3 = Reduction bioefficacy may occur at pH > 7
- 4 = Reduction in bioefficacy will occur at pH > 7, severity increasing with higher pH;
- 5 = Reduction in bioefficacy will occur at pH > 9;
- 6 = Refer to pesticide label for restraints on directions for use;
- 7 = Limited evidence suggests poor physical compatibility with RLF BSN products, check compatibility via a jar-test before mixing larger volumes;
- 8 = Mixing with RLF CSF products may cause excessive copper uptake by vines;
- 9 = Very rapid degradation of active ingredient will occur in acidic solutions, DT50 < 1 hr at pH 5;
- 10 = Pesticide active ingredient is formulated as an ionic salt; mixing with RLF products can result in precipitation of insoluble salts and/or reduction in bioefficacy due to interaction with positive and negative ions in the liquid fertiliser formulation;
- 11 = Pesticide is formulated at an alkaline pH; mixing with low pH RLF products can result in generation of heat from exothermic neutralisation reaction;
- 12 = Pesticide label indicates incident phytotocity or transient yellowing if applied to stressed plants; this effect may be enhanced in tank mixes with RLF CSF products but it is likely plants will recover more quickly due to improved nutrition;
- 13 = Photolycally unstable; pesticide active ingredient will rapidly degrade in aqueous solution in sunlight
- H = herbicide
- I = insecticide
- IGR = insect growth regulator; effectively an insecticide but controls insects by interrupting a specific phase of its life cycle, instead of biological toxicity.
- F = fungicide
- PGR = plant growth regulator
- SAF = crop safener; added to herbicide formulations to limit activity on non-target crop species
- ADJ = adjuvant; added to pesticide formulations to increase efficacy, improve tank mix compatibility etc.
- SYN = synergist; added to pesticides (usually insecticides) to enhance performance through chemical or biological synergy of action.
